ಹಿಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್‌ ಸೋಂಕು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ನಲವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಂಕಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂದಾಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಪೋಷಕರು ತಮಗೆ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್‌ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಆದರೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡಿಸಿರೋದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಒಂದೂವರೆ ಲಕ್ಷದಷ್ಟು ಕೋವಿಡ್‌ ಸೋಮಕು ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿರಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರ. ಹಾಗೆ ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಕೋವಿಡ್‌ ಸೋಂಕು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹರಡುವುದು ತುಂಬಾ ಕಡಿಮೆ.
